John was the son of William de Ros and Lucy FitzPiers.[1][2] His birthdate is uncertain, though his parents married before 24 January 1234.[1][2] His date of birth, therefore, occurred after 1234.
Marriage
It is not known whether John married or had issue.
Death
The dates and locations of John's death and burial are unknown.
