Biography
Bill was born in 1911. He is the son of John Rose and Lena Hahn. Bill was two years old when his parents moved back to the ranch at Sturgis from Hemet, California. His education was from local schools, a year in college, and a year of training as a jeweler, in Peoria, Illinois. Bill's occupation, for the most part, was farming. He also worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker.
