Biography
After his mother's 1899 death, Walter and his siblings were farmed out to his various members of his mother's family. Walter went to live with his maternal uncle James Curtis Hatfield, his mother's fraternal twin. [1]
Walter then went to live with his father and his stepmother (Tennie Culverhouse Rose) in Lake County Florida,
