Robert “Bob” Lee Rose was born on November 3, 1942 in Graysville, Tennessee. He was the son of Cecil Francis Rose and Robbie Irene (Green) Rose. Bob had 4 brothers, Herbert Franklin Rose, Cecil Francis Rose, Gary Duane Rose, and Donald Roy Rose.

Bob married Bonita “Bonnie” Marie Fales in 1963. Bob and Bonnie had 2 children, a daughter, Penny Jean Rose and a son, Robert Lee Rose Jr.

Bob passed away in Battle Creek, Michigan on 29 November 2016.
