Hey Gregory,

I am descended from Middleton Thomas Mobley via Nancy Mobley via Hughie Franklin Mobley and Sarah Catherine Warren Mobley. I would love to correspond with you about the Mobley family. My email is [email address removed] I have not figured out how to communicate via WikiTree. I hope to hear from you. Thanks for your research and dedication! James "David" Mobley

Hi Gregory,

Thank you so much for all the work you do for WikiTree. My family came over on the Mayflower. I had a uncle that was a genealogist. He gifted me his research charts before the internet became such a great source of information. I didn't want to point out an error unless I could back it up with a solid correction. Shubael Rowland Greene was my Greatx3 Grandfather. He was married to Polly Safford Skinner (that part is perfect) the next generation is incorrect. The site lists Asenet (Green) Bruce as their daughter. Her actual parents are Alvin Green and Polly Green. Shubael and Polly's children are Sarah E. (Greene) Everett, Julia D. Greene, and William M. Greene, Second Lt. in Co. A, 20th Michigan Infantry. He died in battle during the Civil War. They also had a son that died when he was 8, his name was either George or Daniel. Thank you so much for your time.

Hi. I am your 4th cousin twice removed. Our most recent common ancestor is Sybil Buckland Snow and Sylvanus Snow. I am gg granddaughter of William Snow, the youngest of 11 children. I see u are a descendant of Ebenezer Snow. Just wanted to say hi. I am sad we don't have records of Sylvanus's parents.

Hello Greg,

I am new to Wikitree and I have been adding my Family into it. I tried to enter in my Grand Father, William Carl Neiman, and was notified that you have already entered him in. Could you please add me as a Trusted Family member, so that I might continue adding in more of my ancestors and update information for my Family that is needed.

Thank You, Jim Vining

I have a screen shot I can send. My grandmother is listed under Davis-50935. Maybe that will help. She is Lina Clyde Davis. I can’t see the private info but it shows she was married to Robert f Williams. My grandfather. They had four sons. Robert Fredrick, sherrill, Darwin and Jerry. Because I couldn’t see my father I added him in correctly but he is now showing as a half brother for. Total of 5 children which is incorrect.

OK, that did the trick. I have proposed a merge of Williams-93287 into Williams-57421. This will clear up the issue. After the merge, you will also be the owner and please update as needed.

Williams 92877 is the number. Thanks!!!

I tried searching for Williams-92877, but I can't find that record.

Hi Greg, my father is Robert Fredrick Williams Sr not Robert Williams II. There are two listed and mine is correct. Please remove Robert Williams II since there is no such person. My uncles (his brothers) are sherrill, Darwin and Jerry. I can’t move forward until this correction is made and associated properly. The are is full brothers not half. I don’t seem to have the ability to fix it since I didn’t enter the incorrect one

Hello Gregory, Edward Griswold is my 9th Great Grandfather and your 10th. That connects as 10th Cousins, once removed. It also connects to my Crane, Couch Line through Edwards' Daughter, Deborah. However, my search for my 2nd Great Grandmother's Ancestors has led to almost 12 years of frustration. She was born between 1835 and 1840 in New York. She married my 2nd Great Grandfather after her first husband passed away. He is said to be John Davey. There are several spellings of his last name, which only adds to the frustration. I believe it is the 1885 Census that lists Charles Davies as George Washington Couch's Stepson. George is my 2nd Great Grandfather. I believe Emma's children, Samuel and Clara are also the children of her first husband. Since we are related through the Griswold Line and the Crane-Couch Line, I was hoping you would be able to help with information on Emma Louise Rose, my 2nd Great Grandmother. Thank You in Advance for any Assistance you may be able to offer. On a side note, Emma is not the Daughter of John Crippen Rose and Bridget Smith. If she were, she would have been widowed at 12 or 13 with 3 Children.

Sincerely, Crystal

Hello Amy and thank you for contacting me.

I joined the Scottish Clans based upon my last name of Rose. I soon found out after that, I am a Thornton by blood on my Fraternal side. Therefore, I have not been active in the group. You may drop me from your roles.

Thank you for your Leadership role.
