Thank you, David, for volunteering to help grow our worldwide family tree. The more ancestors you add, the more likely cousins will find you and add to your knowledge of your heritage. :)

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

A gedcom is not required to use WikiTree, many users enter profiles manually. You can search our tree from the find mune, top right, or ask questions on our forum, see Holly's link in her post.

If you intend to enter family members profiles you will need to volunteer, by telling us that you are willing to share information and clicking the volunteer button in the orange box on the left.

David:

Sounds like you are doing quite well to be back at great grandpa. All I can say is keep plugging. Lots of good help here on wiki tree. In addition lots of help of other free sites: Familysearch.org, Rootsweb, tribal pages. Don't forget your State/County genweb sites. They are very good. Another spot is facebook-lots of genealogy groups there-I belong to TN, GA and Southwest GA. Look for your area and see if some of your group on the FB.
