Charity Rose was baptized on 19 July 1795 in Limington, Maine. Her parents were Joseph Rose and Abigail (Berry) Rose[1].
She married James Stevens on 15 March 1821 in Limington[2]. They had five children[1]:
1. Mary J., born 11 Nov 1826; married Martin Ulmer
2. Abigail Rose, born 1828; married Dennis Savage
3. Joanne, born 1831; married Amos Dakin Hewitt
4. Leonard, born 1833
5. John, born 1836; married Sophia Small
Charity passed away on 6 November 1857 in Vassalboro, Maine, and is buried in Maple Grove Cemetery[3].
