Biography

Edward was born on 26 Sep 1870 in Tazewell County, Virginia. He was the son of Joseph Rose and Ann Vaughn. [1]

In 1870, Edward was living with his parents in Clearfork Township, Tazewell, Virginia. USA in the household of Samuel Augustus Billups. [2] . By 1880, the Rose family was no longer living with the Billups family but were still in Clear Fork. [3]

On 18 Feb 1889, he married Regina Malvina Marrs in Tazewell County, Virginia. [4]

In 1900, Edward and Regina lived in Jeffersonville (now Tazewell), Tazewell County, Virginia. [5] By 1910 they had moved to Big Creek, McDowell County, West Virginia. [6] [7] [8]

Edward died on 25 Jan 1931 in War, McDowell County, West Virginia when he was blinded by the lights of an oncoming vehicle and crashed his car. He is buried at Grassy Spur Church Cemetery in Bishop, Tazewell, Virginia. [9] [10]
