Birth

Margarieta Roseboom was born before, 19 Oct 1712, in Albany, New York. She is the daughter of Albany residents Hendrick Roseboom and Deborah Staets. [1]

She was baptized, 19 Oct 1712, in the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York. Margarieta, of Hendrik and Debora Rosenboom. Wit.: Gosen Van Schaick. [1]

Marriage

Margarita Rooseboom and Robert Johannes Lansing were married, 5 Dec 1734, in the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York. Dec. 5. L. Robbert Lansing, y.m., and Margrietje Rozeboom, y.d. [2]

She died in 1746 and was buried, 5 Sept 1746, in the Church Cemetery. 1746 9/5 wife of Lansingh, Robert church yard [7]

This gunsmith's daughter married Robert Lansing in December 1734. Her husband followed his father-in-law to become a prominent gunsmith and keeper of the first city fire engine!

The couple set up their home on Court Street. By 1746, their four children had been baptized in the Albany Dutch church.
