Biography

Hendricus Roosekrans and Maria de Pue were married on 15 December 1728 after registering their banns on 24 November. The marriage was recorded in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York. It was the first marriage for both of them. According to the record, Maria was born under the jurisdiction of Raysester (Rochester) and Hendricus was born under the jurisdiction of Mormel (Marbletown). They were both living near Keyser-ryk (Kyserike).^[1]
