Biography

Marcus’s Hebrew name was Mordchai David. He may have been named after his fathers uncle who died In the old country around the time Marcus was born In Boston. Aaron Rosenberg found potential evidence that Joseph Rosenberg had a possible brother named Mark Rosenberg. Mark didn’t immigrate To America with the family.

Marcus had a form of mental deficiency (possibly Autism), he was not able to speak or write. He was placed in Waldheim State run institution at 10 years old in 1903. He stayed there until his death 1946 at 51 years old.
