Biography

Jerusha (Rosenberger) Douglas is a member of Clan Douglas.

Jerusha was born about 1820[1]. She was the daughter of Jacob Rosenberger. She passed away in 1906.[2][3][4] She was to be buried in Leon, Kansas, however, when a descendant of William and Jerusha Douglas, Christopher Douglas, went to visit the grave of William Douglas, there was no gravestone for her near William's grave, and there was plenty of space for another grave.[5] She may have been buried without a gravestone or in a different section, or even in a different graveyard.

Obituary

Obituary (El Dorado Republican), 6 April 1906
Douglass
Mrs. Jerusha Douglass, years ago a resident of Leon, died Sunday in her late home, Blackwell, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren, the Buells, live south of Leon and the remains will be taken to that city Tuesday for burial. Services will be held from the M. E. church Tuesday.

Another obituary was published in the Leon Indicator and it mentions her husband, William, her daughter Bell Page, and her daughter Susie Dickson.
