Gerald V. Roser, 43, of Park Hills, died in the Veterans Hospital in Columbia on Friday, December 15, 1944 at 12:30 a.m. where he had been a patient for two weeks.
Born in Flint, MI, on January 5, 1896, he had been a resident of Spartanburg eight years. Husband of Dorothy Fellows Roser; son of Louis Charles Roser (1863-1934) and Elizabeth Charlotte Hoag Roser (1869-1902).
Worked with the Western Electric Company and was associated in Spartanburg with the Taylor-Colquitt Company.
Member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.
