Ephraim Johnson was clearly married to Nancy, age 53, in 1850 US Census for Harrison Co OH, indicated at time of marriage as Nancy Ross per West's transcribed Family Data Collection. Some descendants claim Pugh was Nancy's surname. Note Nancy's age at time of marriage to Ephraim, possibly relevant. Several records clearly indicate the marriage of Nancy and Ephraim Johnson.
