Dear Vicky. I have spent hours trying to get my tree back. How do I find my tree containing all my ancestors so far --I want to get back to it so that I can add more . Either in fan type or regular. Which dropdown should I use and which offering should I know is the right one Hope you can help-- there must be a way to find my tree.
You are now a Bell/Johnstone/Martindale twig on a branch of our great big ole shared tree, thank you for volunteering!
We have a Question of the Week posted in our Genealogist-To-Genealogist (G2G) forum if you'd like to jump in and answer it, just click What do you do when you find a Blacksheep?
Not sure how to start? Visit How to Use Wikitree for instructions. If you are looking for some great ways to help out our collaborative effort? The Volunteers Needed page is the place to go!
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

A warm welcome to WikiTree, a genealogy site different than any other! You should have received an email from us with helpful links to get started.
Our goal is to have one single profile per person so that we have ONE big family tree and we collaborate together to make that happen.
Each volunteer at WikiTree adds to the collaborative tree at their own pace, there are no minimum requirements for time or entry.
When you volunteer, you indicate your interests by adding tags and comments and then one of our Greeters will confirm your membership.
Please check out our question of the week What's the most interesting news item you've found about one of your ancestors?"
Welcome to the family!
