Biography

James Edward Ross was born on 12 Nov 1844 in Madison Parish, Louisiana, son of James Columbus Ross (1820 - 1894) and Mary D. (Curtis) Ross (1815 - 1850).

James married Sophia Rebecca Crisco (1847 - 1926). Their son was George Jackson Ross (1885 - 1973).

James died on 5 Jan 1929 in Claiborne County, Mississippi aged 84.
