Sarah Margaret Ross, daughter of John H. and Mary J. (Martin) Ross, was born on 7 Dec. 1855 at Arkansas.[1] She appeared on the census of 12 June 1860 in the home of her father and step-mother at Washington Township, Independence County, Arkansas.[2] She was attending scholl when she appeared on the census of 14 Sep. 1870 in the home of her grandmother, Sarah (Fulbright) Martin, at Washington Township, Independence County, Arkansas.[3]
She married Barney Jacob Case, son of John Glasby and Mary Ann (Arthur) Case,[1]
She and Barney appeared on the census of 5 June 1880 at Spring Valley Township, Shannon County, Missouri.[4]
Sarah died on 20 Jan. 1925 and was buried at Summersville Cemetery, Summersville, Texas County, Missouri. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
