Biography

Ann was born in 1788. She is the daughter of John Ross and Elizabeth Rowton.

Research Notes

In the wiil of Elizabeth Ross (nee Rowton) (1821) Ann is mentioned as Elizabeth's daughter. She was appointed by her mother as joint executrix with three of her sisters. Also on image 641 she is named as the wife of Robert Adams. (Source - FindMyPast, Leicestershire wills and probate records, Images 639/640/641 of 729).

Ann Ross and Robert Adams were married on 15 April 1819 in Birstall, Leicester , England but more details need to be found for Robert before a profile can be created for him.
