  • GEORGE A., b. 6-22-1815, m. in 1842, to Ann Nash, of Canton, Miss. He was a farmer, d. 8-29-1878. Ann's P. 0., Canton, Madison Co., Miss.
• The children of George A. and Ann (Nash) Ross.^[2]
  • ROBERT L., b. in 1843, served in the Confederate army during the late Civil War. He was murdered a few years ago in Canton, Miss. Never married.
  • JAMES B., b. in 1845. He was a scout in the Confederate service during the late Civil War. He was killed in 1863 whilst on an expedition on White river.
  • SUSAN, b. in 1847, m. in 1868, William Young. Susan d. some years ago.
  • MARY, b. in 1850, d. in 1863.
  • FLORENCE, b. in 1859, m. --, O. R. Singleton Prichard. Florence d. in 1882. O. R. S.'s P. 0., Carthage, Texas.
