Duncan Ross was born in Surrey, England.

When Duncan Ross was born in 1875 in Camberwell, Surrey, England, United Kingdom, his father, Charles Ross, was 40 and his mother, Constance Atkinson, was 39. His mother passed when he was about 1 year old.

He married Fanny Waldron on 20 May 1901 in "The Church", Fremantle, Western Australia.[1] The ceremony was witnessed by Jack Small and Jessie Willis. They had three children during their marriage.

Duncan lived in John Street, Fremantle, Western Australia in 1906.

He lived in Hill Street, Fremantle, Western Australia in 1910 where he worked as a lumper, (a docker, especially one who unloads cargoes from fishing boats). [2]

Duncan lived with his wife Fanny in 1912 in Cantonment Street, Fremantle, Western Australia. Duncan was employed as a labourer at that time.

In 1931, Duncan worked as a waterside worker in Fremantle, Western Australia. He was living on Hill Street in Fremantle, Western Australia at the time.

In 1949 Duncan was retired and lived in Henville Street, South Fremantle, Western Australia.

Duncan died on 15 February 1950 in Fremantle, Western Australia, at the age of 75.[3] He was buried in the Anglican section of Fremantle Cemetery, Palmyra, Melville City, Western Australia, Australia.[4]

Duncan and Fanny are not listed as living together in the electoral rolls that I can find.

Duncan Ross, while working on the S.S. Coolgardie crushed his fingers. He was conveyed to the hospital, and after having the injuries stitched, was able to proceed to his home.[5]
