It appears that Elizabeth was the daughter of Walter (b May 1850 in Scotland) and Rosanna (b Mar 1855 in Scotland) Ross, with siblings Katharine, Rosanna, John, Walter, and Eveline (all b. in Scotland) and Hargrave, William and Charles (all b. in New York). The family immigrated in 1889. Her mother (Rosanna) had 18 children, of which only 11 were living in 1900.
