Research Notes
Thomas' Find a Grave memorial contains apparent contradictions:
He was born 3 Jul 1796 in Lancaster, Glengarry, Upper Canada and baptised the same day in Williamstown.
He died 3 Jun 1865 (aged 68) in Thurso, Canada East or 2 Jun 1865 in Lochaber, Canada East. Lochaber appears to have been a village in the Gore of Lochaber, later known as Thurso.
