Just checking in as I found we have the same Haplogroup T2c1d1. My EKA is:
Abigail Grimes married to Shadrack Jackson
B:1792 Virginia, USA
D:7 June 1863 Powder Springs, Cobb, Georgia, USA
Our connection may be back in the old, old country, but since I have so few mtDNA Haplogroup matches, I am trying to keep them in mind, just in case.
I will keep this in mind. I have a few matches on FTDNA with this Haplogroup, but have not been able to find any common ancestors. My oldest documented maternal line is Jane Cochran married to Carlisle Dairy, b 13 Jn 1814 Pennsylvania, d 25 Sep 1891, Indiana. Her mother was Eleanor LNU from Derry Ireland. She married Hugh W Cochran.
How is it going so far, were the How-Tos pages helpful or did they leave you with questions?
