Biography
Jane was born about 1845, the daughter of Donald Ross and Johanna McDonald
In 1851 Jane lived at Clashmorgach (Clashmore), Dornoch with her parents and aunt. She was a scholar.[1]
Jane Ross married James Macfarlane in 1877[2] At the time of their marriage Jane lived at 131 Leith Walk and was a Tablemaid.
In 1881 Jane was living in South Leith with her husband, two of their children and six lodgers. [3]
Jane passed away before 1891.
