WATERVILLE -- Noella L. Rossignol, 81, of Waterville, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, with her loving family by her side. Born on Dec. 25, 1925, a daughter of Octave and Helen (Landry) Rossignol, she was educated in Waterville schools, and worked and retired from C.F. Hathaway as a supervisor. Family brought great joy to Noella -- she loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to sew and cook. Besides her parents she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Noella is survived by her best friend and lifetime companion, Richard Breard, of Waterville; her daughter, Carole Pooler and her husband, Roger, of Waterville; grandchildren, Valerie Giguere, Donald Giguere, Timothy Giguere and his wife, Althea, Kelley Cloutier and her husband, Duane; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jayme Cloutier; two brothers, Bert Rossignol of Florida and Ronald Rossignol and his wife, Shirley, of Waterville; three sisters, Lorraine Gagnon of Waterville, Rose Grenier of New York and Freda Veilleux of Winslow. She also is survived by her godchild, Norman Grenier, and two special friends, Dale Wilde and Seth Knapp. Family and friends will gather from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 1, at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Silver Street, Waterville. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Noella's name be made to Health Reach Hospice, P.O. Box 828, Waterville, ME 04901. [1]
