Theresia was shown in most records by this name and not her "grace" name of Maria.
Parents are theorised to be Heinrich Roth and Margaretha Wortman of Heitersheim based on location and Theresia's approximate birth year per marriage and burial records. This couple was possibly married in Steinenstadt, about 17 kilometres away, in 1785. If so, their fathers names were Joannis Roth and Andreae Wortman.
Theresia and husband Anton are named in the marriage records for daughters Katharina and Rosa.
The couple had four daughters named Theresia, each of whom died in infancy except for the last one, who died at the age of 12.
