Biography

Carl George Roth was born 1883 in Guernsey, Poweshiek, Iowa to parents Henry and Caroline (Schuster) Roth. He grew up in Lincoln Township, Iowa Co., Iowa and married Margaret Kathryn Mohr in 1906. They raised their children in Lincoln and removed to Oskaloosa by 1940. He made a living as a farmer and an auto mechanic. After World War II, some of their children moved to Santa Cruz, California, and Carl also moved there with his wife. He died there in 1950.
