Hi Bobbi- I'm pretty clueless about DNA, so I don't know how to answer your comments about that. But... WikiTree has a project for DNA that you might find of interest. To check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop-down menu, and then click the link to the DNA project. In addition to information that may be of interest to you, the project page has a list of members you can contact if you would like additional details.

Hello, been doing research on my own for the past couple years on ancestry.com to find out more about my family genealogy on my father's side...since he passed away when I was 6 and his family wasnt very big I never got to learn where we came from! I pretty much think I suck at this and dont really understand what im doing!:) My brother took a DNA test from ancestry.com but I dont know if that was even beneficial since all it told us was regions our family came from...which we already know...we want to know our ancestry from USA...we are rumored to have Cherokee Blood but cant find any info anywhere! I will help if anyone can please help me, Thank you Sincerely Bobbi
