Pasquale Rotondo immigrated to the USA around 1905 at the age of 20.
He married Maria Congi in 1908 in Harrison County, West Virginia where he was working in the coal mines. Both Pasquales and Marias parents names were listed on the marriage record.
In the 1910 census, there were no children yet. The first child was born in 1911 and died soon after birth. The next child to arrive was Samuel Marshal in 1912. Others soon followed.
In the 1920 census the entire Rotondo family was mistranscribed as the PITONO Family.
In 1922. Pasquale Rotondo became a naturalized citizen of the USA.
