Biography

Harriett, born about 1818 in Staffordshire, England, was the daughter of Enoch and Elizabeth Round.^[1] She married widower Joseph Helliwell in London, England, in 1853.^[2] At the time of their marriage, she was a schoolmistress.^[3]

In the 1860 U.S. Census, they are recorded living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with five of Josesph's children from his first marriage and two from his second marriage with Harriet.^[4]

She died in 1888 and was buried at the Necropolis, Toronto.^[5]
