Research Notes
The unsourced profile of James Roundtree (abt.1787-1834) has been removed as Green's father until a source can be provided for the relationship. FamilySearch lists Green as a son of James Rountree without any substantial evidence[1]. It's more likely Green was listed within James' household in the 1820 census as one of his ten, African-American enslaved peoples.[2]
