Thomas Hervey Rounsavell was born on 12 Dec1844. He was the son of George Rounsavell and Mary Frame. He was killed in the opening minutes of the battle of Shiloh or Pittsburg Landing, Hardin, TN. According to a deposition of his commander, he was buried on the Shiloh battlefield at Pittsburg Landing, TN. He is not listed in the Shiloh National Cemetery.
