Rebekah (Rouse) Simmons was born on 17 Jan 1744 in Little Compton, Newport, Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, daughter of George Rouse (1704–1775) and Hannah Horswell (1706–>1775).

Rebekah married Peter Simmons (born on 19 May 1735 in Little Compton, Colony of Rhode Island; son of Benjamin Simmons and Mary (Taylor) Simmons).[1] Their children were:
Rebekah died on 20 Jul 1820 in Galway, Saratoga, New York, United States, aged 76.[2]
