James Hasbrook Rouse was born on Jul 17, 1807 in Cairo, Greene, New York, USA, son of Rev. Petrus Rouse (1767–1846) and Rachel (Salisbury) Rouse (1776–1853).[1]

James married Maria (White) Rouse (born in 1812). Their daughter was Rachel Rouse (1834–1841).
James (33) married Adeline N (Sexton) Rouse (23) (born on Dec 17, 1817 in East Hampton, Middlesex County, Connecticut, United States) on Jan 6, 1841 in Cairo. Their son was Martin R. Rouse (1835–>1910).
James died on May 18, 1886 in Cairo, aged 78. He was buried in Sandy Plains Cemetery, Cairo, Greene County, New York.[1]
