Biography

Because Elizabeth Rouse Wall was survived by her father, she is not listed among his living heirs at his death in Tompkins County, New York.

Old family records copied by Samuel Wall say Elizabeth was the third child and second daughter of John Rouse and Hannah Smith. In so far as known, that is correct, with Hannah (Rouse) McConnell and John Rouse Jr ahead of her.

The Walls and Rouses attended the same church in Pittstown, Rensselaer County, New York, and Walls and Rouses are later found in North Norwich, Chenango County, New York.
