Raffe Rouse of Modbury in Devon, son of William and father of Robert and Raffe.[1]
Research Notes
Raffe's father in the Visitations of Sussex, William Rous, is listed as the lord of Little Modbury in merchant and staple certificates dated 16 November 1302.[2]
Note the grant in 1340-1340/1 by a Ralph Rous of Little Modbury to his children Amice, Joan, Margery and Robert.[3] This is presumably Ralph the younger.
