When Sarah Rowe was born in 1750 in Culpeper, Virginia, her father, George Rowe, was 24, and her mother, Elizabeth (Council) Rowe, was 20. She married Robert Edmond Render in 1771 in her hometown. By 1800 the family had moved to Kentucky. She died on January 1, 1810, in McHenry County (very near Ohio County), Kentucky, at the age of 61.
