Jonathan Rowe was born 25 July 1991, in Pejepcott, Maine, the son of Joshia Rowe (1758-1814) and Mary Ayer (1764-1856)
He married Sarah “Sally” Garcelon (1795-1868), daughter of Rev. James S. Garcelon, Jr. (1761-1838) and Elizabeth Dyer(1757-1828) on 9 December 1814 in Dansville, Maine.
They had ten children all born in Maine:

Jonathan died 10 May 1835 in Lisbon, Androscogin, Maine and is buried in Garcelon Cemetery.
