Jeremiah may have died before 1820 (when his grandfather wrote his will), or as late as 1856?
Research Notes
When his grandfather wrote his will in 1820, Jeremiah's father, Jacob, was already dead. While his grandfather's will makes bequests to Jeremiah's two sisters by name, Jeremiah is not mentioned. [2] Whether this is because he was also already dead, or had received his father's property previously is unknown.
There is a Jeremiah Rowe who died in Gilford on 1 Jun 1856 at the age of 66 (making his birth year 1790). [3]
