She is named in her father's will, [1][2] and on 31 May 1780 her uncle William Rowland requested the Court to appoint James Eager and John Rippey as guardians for Matthew Rowland (age 13), Mary Rowland (12), and Ann Rowland (10). Their brother, John Rowland (age 15), filed his own petition for the same guardianship. [3]
