Elizabeth was born in 1615. Elizabeth Rowland ... ^[1]

William Thornton's wife was never proven as Elizabeth "Rowland". It appears to have been an assumption due to a son's name. Proof is needed. It is quite doubtful that she was ever born in Richmond VA.

Elizabeth Rowland was born in Virginia in 1627 to John and Margaret (Bailey) Rowland. She married William Thornton in 1648 and, um, died in 1646 (something's amiss here; perhaps the "or 1655" date mentioned below should be used instead). William and Elizabeth had at least one child: son Francis Thornton, born in 1651 (again, argues for Elizabeth's death date to be 1655, not 1646).

Elizabeth is probably no a child of Rowland-808, as there are only a few years difference their birth years (John Rowland II-808, born 1614). It would appear she is a sibling of Rowland-808 and daughter of Rowland-399 (and probably a duplicate of Rowland-400)
