Hello! I'm confused about John's wife, Ester Pepple Roland. Your source "Mary Hunsaker Roland & Descendants" states John married Ester Neat, daughter of Rudolph Neat. Her profile shows that Ester was the daughter of Peter Peppel. The name "Rudolph Neat" is or simply "Neat" is used for several generations down the line from John and Ester. I've been curious to find where the name "Neat" originated, as its prevalent in my direct ancestral line.
Was Ester a Peppel or a Neat?
