Biography

John was born in 1850. He was the son of Henry Rowley and Martha North. He appeared on the U.S census of 1850 and 1860 in his parent's household. He married Ella Howard in 1869 and they had six children: Clarence H, James Howard, Martha, Fay Elmo, Willard Henry, and Leo George Rowley. They appeared, except for for Leo, on the U.S. census for 1880. He passed away in 1929.
