Grovener Convus Rowley was born on May 9th, 1906 in Ravenswood, West Virginia[1]. He was the son of Edgar Rowley and Coral Balser.
In 1940, when he was 34 years old, Grovener registered for the World War II military draft[1]. At the time, he was married to Elizabeth Dove Rowley and still living in Ravenswood, working for J.G. Fox[1]. He passed away in 1988.
