Private Israel Rowley served with 1st Connecticut Regiment (1777), Continental Army during the American Revolution.
Israel Rowley[1] was born 20 Feb 1733 in Colchester, New London, Connecticut[1], son of Elnathan Rowley and Abigail Cone. He married Lydia Clark and they had two known children: Israel Rowley and Irena Rowley who m. Daniel Dodge and died before 1842.
He participated in fighting in the American Revolution. He died 07 Apr 1778 in East Haddam, Middlesex, Connecticut, USA[1]
