Ethel Rowling was born in 1895^[1] in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia as the fifth child of William Rowling and Elizabeth Northmore. She had eight siblings, namely: William Henry, Walter Frederick, Alfred George, Beatrice, Millicent Amelia, Eileen Eva, Arthur Lewis, and Charles Allan. She died on 29 Nov 1964^[2] in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 26, she married Clarence Burraston,son of Joseph Burraston and Mary Anne Jane Thorley, on 26 Jan 1921^[3] in Waverley, New South Wales, Australia.
