Biography
Eloy Eucher Roy was baptized 12 October 1734 in Saint-Vallier. His parents were François Roy and Marie Anne Fortier, and his godparents were Paul François Laronde and Marguerite Rabouin. At the time of baptism, the family had been living in nearby Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse.[1]
Eloi (Louis on his marriage record) married Marie Dyon 3 February 1766 in Berthier-sur-Mer.[2] Their marriage produced the following children:

Marie Brigitte Dion passed away 10 mars 1792, spouse of Éloi Roi , in Saint-Michel[17]
Eloi died 27 January 1820 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, and was buried four days later.[18]
