Biography

Marie Thérese Roy was born on January 19, 1737 in Saint-Sulpice, L'Assomption, Québec, New France, daughter of Jacques Roy and Marguerite Lalonge.[1]

Marie Thérese (25) married Michel Janot dit Lachapelle on April 19, 1762 in Repentigny, Montreal, Quebec.

Their children were:

  1. Michel (Lachapelle) Janot dit Lachapelle
  2. Amable (Janot) Boucher
  3. Charlotte (Janot Lachapelle) Janot dit Lachapelle.

Marie Thérese died on June 19, 1814 in Repentigny at the age of 77.
