Marie Magdeleine Roy was a daughter of Jacques Roy and Marguerite Lalongé. She was born around 4 P.M. on 12 March 1731 and baptized the following day in the parish of Repentigny, New France.[1]
She was married to Pierre Ratel in 1762.[2]
A woman identified only as la bonne femme Ratel was buried in L'Assomption on 21 November 1792;[3]
there is a strong chance this was Magdeleine.
