Biography

John Barney Riber was born on October 17, 1851, in Ironton, Ohio, his father, Heinrich, was 24 and his mother, Sophia, was 30. He married Margaret Elizabeth Abercrombie on April 11, 1877. They had seven children in 24 years. He died on June 18, 1933, in Jefferson, Ohio, at the age of 81, and was buried in Dayton, Ohio.
